How to Create a Scrapbooking Room
How to Create a Scrapbooking Room - Step By Step
- Find a room in the house that you can use for Scrapbooking. It should be a room that has good quality light. It should be a room where you are able to leave your projects out while working on them, and that you can close the door to when you are stopping.
- Start out by painting the room your favorite color - something that inspires you and makes you feel happy!!!
- I bought some very inexpensive cabinets from our Lowe's Store that were not stained. I brought them home and sanded and stained them. I then bought a very inexpensive countertop from Lowe's and put in right on top of my cabinets. Now I have a space to work and lots of storage. This was a very easy and inexpensive project. The cabinets go across one entire wall of my Scrapbooking Room.
- Buy some shelving or have a contractor make you shelves that specifically fit your scrapbooks and paper holders.
- By some grids from The Container Store to organize all your stuff on up on the wall. This way you can hang things from the grids. This allows you to be able to see what you have.

Brother P-touch Label Makers on Amazon - These Come in Handy for Soo Many Projects
I use these labelers for soo many things! Here are just a few ways you can use it, too:
-On The Front Of Your Cropper Hopper Paper Holders

-To Label All My Artbin Boxes

-To Label Rubbermaid Containers
The best thing is that these labels always peel off soo easily! My favorite P-Touch is the one in the middle!

I love these embellishment boxes soo much! They come in different sizes, too. I organized all my eyelets in the small boxes by color & shape. Then I put them in a fly fishing box, as it had just the right sized spaces that I needed!

I love these Cropper Hopper Vertical Holders soo much. I put all my paper in them by theme. I also use the folders that are made to fit inside them to hold all kinds of things like:
-Memorbilia From A Place We Just Visited
-Special Papers The Boys Made Us
-Bigger Hockey Pictures That I Haven't Scrapped
-Birthday Cards & Banners
I use my label maker to put labels on each holder.

New Phase - the Blue Organizers with Cups
I purchased these holders from Michael's Craft Store, but haven't been able to find them there anymore. I found the website for New Phase - they make these wonderful holders! I just love them! Each one is a separate unit that holds 6 round clear containers. They are just perfect for all your little scrapping accessories such as brads, eyelets, charms, & buttons.

The Container Store - Grids & Hooks - Beyond Love This System!
GRIDS & HOOKS: I purchased the grids & hooks from The Container Store. The grids come in about three sizes and are soo easy to hang on your wall. The hooks come in a larger metal hook that holds lots of items, and a smaller hook that holds just a few items. The grid system also accommodates baskets. This was the first thing I purchased when I started organzing my Scrapbooking Room.

These work great, but are sometimes hard to get on and off the grid. Although, worth the inconvenience when you need to hang something smaller. - SMALL GRID
